This is a place to talk about ideas/interesting topics connected to Pathfinder, but not NECESSARILY connected to the campaign.

Starting things off, I have been coming up with character ideas for the campaign, and an interesting one I thought of (with a bit of inspiration), that I've decided NOT to use because it's to good of an idea for an NPC, and to fully have the effect it would need to be a PC instead. The basic premise is fairly simple, it's a character that is duel class Fighter/Sorcerer, but the interesting part is, the character is actually two souls/minds, in one body. This came about by some sort of spell gone wrong, or a curse, or something like that. Anyway, the biggest thing is, this character is played by TWO players. One for each soul/mind in the body. So one is the fighter, and one is the sorcerer. I thought of a couple different ways to deal with this, which if anyone is interested in how it would work I'll post them. So that's an interesting idea I came up with.

OK so just wanted to get some of the players feed back.
Since Evil won't be able to do another session till August, so obviously we'll have to have one or two without him, and he said he is completely fine with us doing one or two without him since he won't be able to do one for a while.
I've already worked out a few possible solutions if we proceed with the main party, however I also came up with an alternative that I am offering you guys. Now I need to stress this is only something we'll do if ALL the players want to do it.
Anyway, the idea is we'll do a few sessions for a DIFFERENT party that is a group of soldiers in the war. It will be taking place almost EXACTLY at the time the current main party is at (it will start the same day as the main party did, on the ship etc).
Just an idea I had, so you guys decide if you want to do it or not. We would make the characters for you guys based on what you want the soldier character to be.
Discuss!

Wouldn't a soldier's life make the sessions a bit too liniear and predictable?
I'd much rather have some plot related adventurers group that is nestled somewhere else on Ageroth or one of the other isles.
Like for instance a well organised group of companions who are currently travelling along the mountains in search for an artifact to help make them rich. Think the myth of King Midas in referrence to popular modern beliefs. They might be sent out there in a religious fervour and a sign from their deity, find the artifact, but it is cursed by a demon-god to thwart the plans of the adventurer's deities. They get overtaken by their own greed as to who gets to own the artifact one at a time by the curse.
The artifact it self has the ability to turn wine in to gold for instance so of course it is coveted by adventurers whom seek fortune.
This is also a good way to experience a party wipe. Though don't use this example! It should be unprediactable!

That sounds like a cool idea! But just to address your concern, it wouldn't be linear at all actually as the soldiers. You guys would be in the war zone (and on a battlefield actually), but you could choose to desert etc. It would be as open as the main party. However if you guys would just prefer not to be soldiers, I'll come up with an alternative like you said Gadric. Main thing is I need to know today if all the players do/don't want to do an alternate group.

I haven't talked to Eigengrau yet, but it looks like you three are up for doing another party, but maybe not a party of soldiers in the war (as Gadric pointed out), and there certainly are alternatives. Once I talk to Eigengrau, we'll confirm what's going on.

So any general discussion anyone has? What are some general things people would like to see in the campaign? Also I want to start a running "bet" on which character will die first in this campaign, if any of them even die that is. Edit: OK so rephrasing the question and adding a second one: Vote which character you think is most likely to die first.Vote which character you think is most likely to survive the whole campaign.

Kyras is most likely to die first. Dinky Bliff will probably survive.

Dinky Bliff might survive, might die. He'll most likely end up getting someone else killed for his mistakes though
