Starting Map:(Click on the map for a bigger view.) Introduction: The world is fifty years older than the reign of Napoleon in Europe. The borders still shaped by the peace treaties signed after the wars that plagued Europe for almost twenty years. However, a new conflict arises, this time in North America. The United States, struggling with the issues of slavery and State's rights, is now split. The southern states, referred to as the Confederate States of America, have succeeded from their relatives to the North. War has yet to begin, but one could imagine a Civil War is brewing. A Civil War in a minor nation is no major event, but during the same time there are Unification Movements in Europe spreading rapidly. Current Map:(Click on the map for a bigger view.) Countries:Major Powers The British Empire - Darin The Russian Empire - BlackTide The Austrian Empire(The Austrian Empire) - Eternal The Kingdom of Prussia - MaHuD The Kingdom of France - NPCOther Nations:(Played by Players) The Republic of Argentina - AwesomeDudeThe Kingdom of Sweden - VarangianThe Kingdom of Belgium - DuncanThe Confederate States of America - GimliThe Kingdom of Denmark - SyrethThe Empire of Japan - LascivoInstructions: At the beginning of each turn, I will send you a country card. During the turn, you fill out orders and then send them to me. After the turn I will send you a turn report and post a official turn report here. Your orders can be as detailed or as broad as you wish, but the more detailed the better I know what to do. Rules: You may not post any screenshots or chat logs in this thread. You may not edit posts in this thread. You must turn in your orders on time or suffer a extreme penalty in the form of an event happening to your countries. Also, while you can't post screenshots or chat logs here, PMs are fair. You can do anything over PMs. I'm going to start asking people to put "OOC: [Message Here]" for things not in character of the BoP. Example) OOC: AwesomeDude, you're screwed. Example of an non OOC post) Prussia announces that it will put 50% of its income into research. - You can create whatever kind of tax you want (income tax, etc). You may also create whatever expense you want (upkeep, etc).
- You can create whatever policy you want. They will have consequences and some will even require an expense to be paid for it to work, but again, expenses are up to you. (You can literally create a policy that requires a wage of 500 credits a turn, but not issue the expenses of 500 credits. Thus saying you have the policy but not actually carrying it out.)
- NPCs will be very active. I'm going to look at timelines of the 1860s and see what each NPC nation did/wanted to do and will play them according to that time line.

You sir, deserve a cookie. Also, will there be long term side effects of high inflation? Inflation is mostly just a reflection of how good/bad your economy is. But long term effects would just be you not getting nearly enough money, businesses failing, classes receiving even less income and other stuff. If you don't do anything to fix inflation, you even might go into hyperinflation (100+%). But think about this. If you have 100% inflation, you can't even make money... Hyperinflation would mean you loose money from income and that would be horrible.

Yeah, you know its bad when it costs more to produce the money (either minting coins or printing paper money), then what the money is worth xD

I posted the new, almost finished, Country Cards (check the second post). If you're worried that it looks like a lot, don't worry, a lot of that is for me. The reason I put it on the Country Card is so you have all the information possible and if you have a problem you can almost always look at the Country Card and figure out how to solve it.
You guys need to tell me if you think it is realistic and easy to read.
