So, I recently started playing Awesomenauts. If I recall correctly a few other's do/used to, so I was curious who all plays it. Perhaps we could have some games sometime.

You just started playing it three years after I gifted it to ya:p But sure, I am pro in that game so just give me a call when you wanna play.

Azrael and I played some tonight. Had a pretty good run, won 4 out of 6 games so that's not bad. One in particular was amazing. We had a bot on out team so it was really a 3v2, and they took all of our turrets down within the first 10 minutes or so. We then proceeded to come back and win it!

Bots are pro in that game, more pro than Firelin. Spot on! Seriously though, some bots in this game are very good and sometimes way better then actual live players.

So I've been looking into the Awesomenauts competitive scene and I may be starting a team. I'd like to have an EU and NA team, similar to how DoF has both. It'd be a limit of 5 players for each team (3 players plus 2 back ups).
I'll post some more once I do a bit more research.

No offence but none of our players I have played so far are even close to being ready for comp matches:p Play game for some 20+ hours at least then maybe is my suggestion.Else you would end up in scrims where you would be getting 0 kills from whole team. Game looks sweet, simple and easy but it's far from it. Main problem I have noticed from our guys is being TOO aggressive. Like dying in first 2 mins of match or not going to heal when having low hp or allowing droids to hit them. Once you eliminate those nab mistakes then you are kinda ready:p Main skill you can have in this game is knowing your character and knowing how to escape/survive. Also I would suggest mastering one char then moving to others. I can show you my loadouts that work great as long as you have decent team to work with. LETS PLAY IT TONIGHT!

Oh trust me, I'm not planning on getting any proper matches for a while And yeah, I'm going to try and master one character before moving on to another, as I think that's the best way forward. But yeah, we're totally not ready for a comp match, I just want some of us (anyone who's interested) to start practicing a fair bit as I'd like to have an actual team for this. Once we get a couple people who are interested I'm going to actually see about recruiting some outside of DoF (ie just Awesomenauts players, but I'll take care of that and it'll be a while before I start).

Check Naut Builder tool. Useful when you want to suggest certain build to someone while outside of game. Here it is: nautsbuilder.com/
