We'll start with f**king Uplay. I bought Ghost Recon: Future Soldier from Steam, which buying it in the first place was a mistake on my part but whatever, and it downloaded from Steam. I click to play it and it REQUIRES ME TO PLAY IT FROM UPLAY. WHAT? Are you kidding me? Ubisoft has such a big f**king ego that they make me require to play a game I bought and downloaded from another program on their "special" Uplay? I can kinda understand this but it still f**king bulls**t.
So it launches Uplay automatically, but I have to install an update. So I wait another 30 minutes or so and it completes the update to Uplay and it saids "Please enter the CD Key for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier". So I do, and guess what? IT SAIDS I HAVE TO DOWNLOAD THE f**kING GAME FOR UPLAY. ARE YOU f**kING KIDDING ME. I gave up after that and decided to look for the actual game I was looking for, Ghost Recon: Online. So I launch Uplay to see if I can find it on their store...
AND IT HAS TO INSTALL YET ANOTHER UPDATE. Not only that but Ubisoft's updates must travel through toasters because it was only downloading at a MAX of 50 KiloBytes. After an hour or so of yet another update, Uplay doesn't even run. Doesn't run at all. In fact, when I click on it, it saids it still needs an update. So I restart my computer. Then I launch Uplay and it finally cooperates. I got to the store and the game is not even f**king there.
I go online and find the game I want and now I'm downloading it. I absolutely hate Ubisoft and EA for trying to rip of Steam when they can't even come close to what Steam has. These companies need to get a grip and just focus on producing/making games and leave marketing to someone who knows how to f**king do it.
Oh, and EA Origin? Won't even start BF:3 after I spent 120 Dollars on that game ($60 Extra because of DLCs). It could be BF:3's launcher, but I highly doubt it. It sounds like a EA problem to me.
