Ok,since some of you were interested in making maps, here is a small tutorial.
1.Make a copy of Native folder(that one is inside your Mount&Blade Warband\Modules folder)
2.Rename it(my new mod,DoF mod...)and put it in with the rest of mods in Mount&Blade Warband\Modules folder
3.Start M&B and in the opening menu choose your mod from the list then press Configure button and under advanced options "check" Enable Edit mode
4.Go to your M&B folder Mount&Blade\Modules\my new mod\SceneObj\ then delete one of the following files(depending of what map you want to "remake")
These are the scene object files and maps they represent:
scn.multi_scene_1 is "Ruins"
scn.multi_scene_2 is "Village"
scn.multi_scene_3 is "Castle"
scn.multi_scene_4 is "Ruined Fort"
scn.multi_scene_7 is "Field by the River
scn.multi_scene_8 is "Castle 2
scn.multi_scene_9 is "Snowy Village
scn.multi_scene_10 is "Castle 3
scn.multi_scene_10 is "Random Plains (Medium)
scn.multi_scene_11 is "Random Plains (Large)
scn.multi_scene_12 is "Random Steppe (Medium)
scn.multi_scene_13 is "Random Steppe (Large)
5.Once you have deleted scene object file of lets say Village(scn.multi_scene_2) start the game(with Edit enable mode on)and start a single player game(new or load)
6.Then click on Terrain button and make terrain of map you want to see in multiplayer(rivers,flora,hills...)
7.Once finished copy the code
8.Now go to your Mount&Blade\Modules\my new mod folder open scenes.txt file and find line of your scene map(tip:all map lines are near bottom of scenes text file)
9.For Village it is:
scn_multi_scene_2 multi_scene_2 256 none none 0.000000 0.000000 100.000000 100.000000 -100.000000 0x000000012002a0b20004992700006e54000007fe00001fd2
10.Now paste the code you copied instead of the one i put in bold
11.Also you can put the outer terrain of each map(background of each map)
The line for outer terrain is just under map code in scenes.txt file
Example:Outer terrain of Village map is "outer_terrain_plain"
Instead of that you can put these lines or leave it as it is
outer_terrain_plain
outer_terrain_steppe
outer_terrain_snow
outer_terrain_desert_b
outer_terrain_desert
outer_terrain_town_thir_1
outer_terrain_plain_1
sea_outer_terrain_1
outer_terrain_castle_9
outer_terrain_beach
12.Go to multiplayer and Host game with the map you are making. In this case Village.
13.Press Alt + Enter to go into window mode(or just put game into window mode before starting it).
14.Press Ctrl + E to start editing map
15.Editing tool window will show up and it's really easy to use.You also have Help button there,so be sure to check it out.
16.You save your map by pressing Ctrl + E again and choose save option.
17.Save a lot(you never know if your game will crash)
Entry Points for various game modes(places where the players spawn at the start of a round)
Battle:Entry point for the First Faction is 0
the Second Faction is 32
Entry points Positions for The Master Of The Field banners are:
The First Position is 67
The Second Position is 68
The Third Position is 69
Deathmatch\Team Deathmatch\Duel:Entry point must be put if you want players to spawn in same position.
Entry points are from 0 to 64.So just put all entry points starting from 0 to 64 in same place(so you need to put entry point 0,ep1,ep2.....entry point 64,hope you get it)
Additional tip:If you have Vista or Windows 7 you might wanna run game as administrator
Ok,hope that helps a bit.
