I know some of you have two monitors. Do you guys only use one graphics card for both monitors, or do you use one for each monitor?
If you only use one graphics card for both, does it affect game performance any? I know it may sound silly, but I'm curious to know if it slows your FPS down any. I'm thinking about getting another Monitor, but I don't want to do it if it'll hinder graphics/performance.

In all my experience with two monitors (and only one card) it never effected the performance. However I was mostly playing games like Warband that were not very intensive.
It also would depend on what you were doing on the second monitor. For example, if (like I've done in the past) you only had TS open so you could see who was talking etc and monitor TS, then it requires very little, however if you are, say, watching video on the second screen, that could take up more resources.

You shouldn't have to SLI two graphics card if they are for different monitors, right?

I think you always need to SLI if you have two cards. Not 100% sure though, that's just always been my understanding.
